Description
The screw-in and welded sheaths are used for the installation of thermocouples and RTD temperature probes where a replacement is required without discharging the system and/or maintaining the pressure.
Pressure stability is temperature dependent and specified in the data sheet for each position. The maximum pressure sealable through the thread depends on the installation conditions and may be lower. The pressure information does not include any safety factor to allow for additional load resulting from flow rates.
Calculations of pressure loads depending on flow, temperature and media are offered as a service.
The given dimensions for "EL" refer to the installation lengths of the RTD temperature probes and thermocouples; the dimensions for "L" indicate the possible sheath installation lengths.
