Applications

  • Filter monitoring One of the classical applications is monitoring the filter in gasses or fluids; allowing
    closing the lines upstream and downstream
    of the filter based on the degree of filter
    soiling.
  • Filling level In pressurized boilers, differential pressure measuring permits the detection
    of the exact filling level, irrespective of system pressure
    fluctuations.
  • Pump control By measuring the pressure conditions upstream and downstream of a pump, a control system allows its delivery capacity and energy consumption to be adapted to the requirement through its rotational
    speed.

Description

The pressure transmitter with silicon probe is used to detect the differential pressure (0.4 bar to 16 bar) in fluid and gaseous as well as low aggressive media.

The differential pressure measuring cell records two pressures. The differential value from these two pressures is converted into an analog 2-wire current signal or ratiometric output signal. The piezoresitive silicon probe is installed in a stainless steel measuring cell. A plastic case accommodates the stainless steel measuring cell and the electronics.
